I'd like to think there isn't a selfish bone in my body that doesn't secretly wish that I could get rich from blogging or isn't fantasising about the possible perks that come with having a blog about food, but the truth is I'm human, I'm young and if I am live in a society that has the unspoken mantra that if you're good at something... you should exploit it. And if there's anthing I'm good at, it's eating.
Selfish fantasies aside, this is blog is simply a combination of two things I enjoy: eating food and writing. Hopefully I will refrain from doing both at the same time (though I have ruined several pens with spilled coffee and almost all my journals have a crumb collection in their pages). I already have a habit of taking photos of my food, so I figured I may as well write about them.
So my hope is that future posts will tell of the art of tasting, consuming, licking, biting, slurping, sipping, stirring, chomp, crunching, smelling and altogether enJOYing the blessing that is food.
