Finished! Below you will see the final results of this little project! This is a 1200 Sq. ft. post and beam straw bale, w/ metal roof, and cement plasters inside and out. A local rugby team earned money for national play-offs by stacking the bales for the client. From ground zero, with no experience, they were able to stack the bales 7 courses high for this 30x40 structure in about 7 hours. Youth! There is no comparison! This structure has two bedrooms, a single bathroom, and combination kitchen/greatroom. The project is off the grid, and located in the remote regions of San Luis Obispo County. |
